Aim: to pass a wire from the artery through the anastomosis to the vein.
Puncture: Either antegrade the artery proximally, or retrograde the vein distally, US guided.

Sheath 6 Fr into the vessel. Heparine iv 3000IU
Advance a hydrophilic wire (angled or straight) through the vessel, across the anostomosis, onto the other vessel
Angioplasty with a balloon about 1 mm greater diameter than the normal diameter of the vessel. Keep the ballooning for about 60 sec. Better the ballooning around the anastomosis.
Final angiogram
Remove wires and catheters.
